Teen Mom Jenelle Evans Will Get NO Jail Time For Beating Someone Up!
In March 2011 Teen mom Jenelle Evans beat the crap out of a women and today she got away more or less scott free. Jenelle had been charged with simple affray which means “Two or more persons fighting in public causing a disturbance, first used in 1482. It is felt this type of fighting may spread to more people [e.g. classic bar fight] and may even precipitate a riot — but certainly there is some degree of breach of peace for this charge.”
However, today she was sentenced to 30 days suspended jail time and 12 months probation. She has to keep her nose clean.
TMZ has more: “Evans was also ordered to pay a $100 fine, take anger management courses, perform 24 hours of community service — and she’s not allowed to have any contact with any of the people who were present at the fight. As for the other woman in the beatdown, Britany Truett — she received the same sentence.
Jenelle’s attorney tells us, “It came out that it wasn’t Janelle being the aggressor and Ms. Truett as the victim. It was presented as a bad decision on everybody’s part and I don’t think there was a single victim in the case.”
It is going to be a long 12 months for Jenelle, I doubt she will be able to keep out of trouble! What do you think? Was it a fair sentence?
