Selena Gomez found out the news of her mother’s miscarriage Friday night while attending the Power 106’s Cali Christmas 2011 concert, which took place in Los Angeles. Upon receiving the news, Gomez immediatly left to see her mother, Mandy, 35.
The 19-year-old singer also cancelled two holiday-themed shows, which were to take place Saturday and Sunday, citing a family emergency. A month ago, Selena tweeted saying, “My mommy’s carrying my baby brother or sister 🙂 I’m the happiest girl in the world!”
The singer is set to perform next at the MTV New Year’s Eve party, which will be hosted by one of Gomez’s good friends, Demi Lovato.
