Robin Gibb is Staying Alive

Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, 62-years old, was said to be incredibly close to death with colon cancer and vowed to beat the devastating disease when he posted a message on his blog last November admitting to his fans “I have been very unwell”, “It is humbling and I take your prayers and good wishes for my health very seriously and I believe because of you I will get well.”

At the London Palladium last night Gibb showed that he’s back and feeling better than ever, appearing with The Soldiers. They sang one of their hits, ‘I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You’ which was recorded by the four at last year’s Poppy Appeal.

Gibb said, “The cancer’s almost gone, I feel fantastic. From now on it’s just what they could describe as a ‘mopping-up’ operation, I am very active and my sense of well-being is good.”

It’s good to know that Gibb is doing great now and has recovered from his colon cancer. Since I was little, my parents listened to the Bee Gees all the time. Hell, I still listen to their music today.
