Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut Releasing Soon
BioWare has officially announced that Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut game will be available as a free download for all 3 platforms Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC; I’m surprised at how fast they’re releasing this it will be coming out next week on June 26th for us in North America.
Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut will be expanding the endings for Mass Effect 3 through cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes and it will go more in depth to Commander Shepard’s journey based on the decisions the player made throughout the war against the Reapers.
This long awaited DLC will be 1.9GB to download and BioWare say that it includes “additional scenes and epilogue sequences. It provides more of the answers and closure that players have been asking for. It gives a sense of what the future holds as a result of the decisions made throughout the series. And it shows greater detail in the successes or failures based on how players achieved their endings.”
They also said that “an expansion of the original endings to Mass Effect 3 but does not fundamentally change the endings, but rather it expands on the meaning of the original endings, and reveals greater detail on the impact of player decisions.”
I seriously can’t wait for next week, I’ve been waiting to see an ending that would actually show the differences depending on what I did and what I chose to do at the very end of the game. Seems like I’ll be needing to do another play through the game but I don’t really care, because the game’s single player campaign and story is simply amazing.
