We are 43 days away from the premier of season two of our absolute favorite show GIRLS, and to brighten up your Friday (I assume yours needs brightening too, it’s raining here) we have an AMAZING new GIRLS trailer to show you! Last season ended and we didn’t know what to think–Hannah and Adam and Shoshanna and Jessa and Marnie were all left in a crazy whirl of chaos and unexpected behavior (spoiler free!) and it’s been full on, undiluted agony ever since! Lena Dunham has looked into our souls and translated it into 27 minute installment episodes!
The season two trailer looks like an amazing blend of real life, a favorite & beloved movie, a fantasy world, and a long night of talking with girlfriends rolled into one. It’s hard to, but it looks like the storyline will pick up the same night we left it (when that one girl did that crazy thing with a minister in front of all those people!). The DVD set comes out in exactly 12 days, which means only 248 hours until we can relive all the magic.
For those of you who are up to date with the show that is currently defining my generation, some questions. Spoiler alert! Whose side are you on? Who is the wound? Did Jessa make a huge mistake? Should Shoshanna have swiped her V card? Let us know what you think in the comments! I think that they’re both the wound, that Jessa is taking the whole “your life is not what you thought it would be” thing a bit too far, and that Shoshanna is right in the trailer below: “I may be deflowered but I am not devalued!” Are you dying with anticipation?
