Miley Cyrus was really depressed after her cute Yorkie-like dog Lila died after a few months of vet visits. Miley and her fiance Liam Hemsworth have a crew of dogs in their LA home, and today they opened their hearts to a gorgeous shelter dog, whom they’ve named Bean.I am a serious animal lover, and believe that mourning the death of a pet is an appropriate and necessary thing to do. People may joke that you’re too attached, or perhaps a bit sad (I don’t know why people always think girls with cats are lame!) and exaggerating. Animals are family and deserve the same love.
Miley shared the news of her newest baby over Twitter: “Meet Bean ❤❤❤ @SpotRescueDogs” followed by, “Bean is a little girl 🙂 she is a chihuahua mix of some type 🙂 she brought so much sunshine!!!” and then, “I love my little bean so much.” The singer shared a bunch of photos of the little puppy, who fell asleep (after what must have been an exciting day) in a cute leopard print doggie coat. Check out these ADORBS pictures! Bean looks like a miniature white lab with big eyes. I bet she’s a handful (pun intended)!
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Miley can do whatever she wants, and as log as she keeps spreading the word about rescuing animals, she will be perfect in my eyes. It’s very easy to keep your nose clean without helping others. Miley plays hard but works hard to spread the love. And we love her for it! I know after the loss of a pet it is hard to open your home and heart again, so I’ll leave you with this: animals need you. If you can, adopt! What better way to mourn than by saving a life and channeling all your love into a precious life that desperately needs you? We love you, Miley!
