Justin Bieber collapsed backstage at his concert in London last night. The singer was heavily breathing and complained about not feeling too well before even starting the show at the o2 Arena during the early hours of the evening, so it was only a matter of time before the 19-year old’s body shut down. Justin dropped to the floor as his team watched in horror,- they instantly tried to bring him back to his feet, but Bieber was feeling very dizzy.
After laying him on the floor and passing him some water, Justin managed to gain consciousness again — but this had totally freaked out his manager, Scooter Braun, who immediately suggested he canceled the rest of the show to see a doctor. Justin, however, refused. The singer said he wanted to finish off the show seeing that people had already given him so much bad press over his lateness to his gig earlier in the week.
He carried on like a pro and managed to get through the rest of the 3-4 songs he was scheduled to perform without any problems, but decided to ditch his choreography to make sure his health doesn’t take a toll on him live on stage. After wrapping up the show, his team rushed him over to a hospital where he was treated — the doctors had told him he was fine and he just seemed to have been dehydrated. That’s all.
“Getting better,” Bieber posted on his Twitter page while still laying in the hospital bed with his entire team by his side. “Thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. Best fans in the world. Figuring out what happened. Thanks for the love.”
The shirtless hospital shot was not necessary.
