Did you tune in to watch The X Factor last season? If so then you’re already familiar with Emblem3. They are a three-member band from Sequim, Washington and moved to Huntington beach to pursue their career. Wesley Trent Stromberg, Keaton Robert Stromberg, and Drew Michael Chadwick all signed with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records after ending up in fourth place on the show.
Boybands seem to be making a bit of a comeback and Simon hopes to catch lightening in a bottle again with this trio. Don’t forget he has discovered both Spice Girls and One Direction and helped to make them into world wide stars. Emblem3 is making news again because they’ve just released a music video for Chloe (You’re the One That I Want) and it is already being compared to something that One Direction would sing.
Now for the real question- can Emblem3 achieve the same kind of popularity that One Direction continues to enjoy? Will this video be the stepping stone towards a real breakthrough for them? Can Simon’s seemingly fool proof formula be right with this trio too?
