The first official banner for The Wolverine has been released, and Wolveine looks like he’s ready to sink his claws into someone. Ouch! Exactly one month from now will see the premiere of the sixth X-Men installment in cinemas and fans are already raving by the newest cast members to add to the mutant family.
Both Yukio and Viper are featured in the movie, and having seen the trailer ourselves, the two are out to cause a lot of trouble. The movie already has a few posters released but this is the first time we’re presented with a banner with someone else other than just Wolverine on it. Haha.The concept of the movie sees Logan make a voyage to Japan as he searches for his enemy from the past that will later on affect his future, yup – it all sounds confusing but according to Bryan Singer, the director of X-Men: Days of Future Past (which is currently being filmed), it’ll all be explained in that movie as the storyline concludes in the follow-up installment.
With the way promotion has been going for The Wolverine, the movie could easily break its weekend box office record which currently stands at $85 million! Our guess is that this movie will make over $100 million for sure; just because the cast are much more familiar and the story-lines seem much more captivating than X Men Origins: Wolverine.
In the last film, we were so puzzled as to why will.i.am was in it. It just totally ruined it for us, so knowing that he’s not in it will definitely be a huge relief for us. Ha.
