Celeb Teen Laundry’s Three, Post-High School Life Questions

Celeb Teen Laundry's Three, Post-High School Life Questions

We tend to think that when high school ends, life ends with it. This is not true. Life does not end when you walk out of school, dressed in your graduation robes, excited about future prospects. Life merely begins then. No one said it was going to be easy, and no one said that life post-high school will be a trip – in fact, many teenagers leaving high school have no idea what they want/need/seek out of life. They do what they think they should do. It is very important to not follow in the footsteps of someone else’s ideology, as you should always carve out your own path in life and be a trailblazer. Celeb Teen Laundry decided on three important things you should consider when the school’s doors slam shut behind you.

1 – Will my life be any different from this point onwards?

To answer that question as bluntly as possible, no, it won’t. You will still experience all of the trials and tribulations post-high school, but you’ll be able to handle those issues more efficiently. The first year of post-high school life will shape you, re-shape you, and carve out experiences on your journey. Many psychologists have asserted that the first year after graduation is the most stressful time of one’s life – new social circles need to be formed at college, new experiences need to flood your consciousness, and new tertiary learning methods need to be implemented. It’s a difficult time, but if you’re able to look at this time as the most defining year of your life, you’ll be surprised at how many things you’ll be able to learn about yourself.

2 – What do I need to know in order to make my life post-high school a successful one?

You need to know that your life will be vastly different from what you’re used to. Your entire perception is going to change – you might make awesome new friends, you might join certain social clubs at college, and you might even fall in love. These experiences will make you so much more aware of your own life, what you want from life, and most importantly, what you need from life.

3 – What if I fail?

We all fail. All of us. Every single person on this planet has failed before. Failure is the product of standards that were not met in a certain time period. It is merely a mindset created by societal constructs and introspection. And, even if the failure is so massive that your entire life is changed because of it, at least you’ll know not to do that certain something again. Failure is not really failure; it’s merely touching something that is hot and realizing that your hand is itching from the heat.
