Are Selena Gomez’s Parents Planning An Intervention?

Selena Gomez’s parents sure have good reason to be concerned about their 21-year-old daughter and, as Life and Style reports, are planning an intervention to get the singer back into rehab. Life and Style reports that her parents feel that Selena is “back at square one” since she and her bad-boy ex have gotten back on the roller coaster that is their relationship.

Gossip Cop was quick to dismiss the hype by claiming to have spoken to a source close to the former Wizards of Waverly Place actress who states there is “no intervention being planned.”

Still, it seems likely that her parents are worried about her recent partying. Selena has been spotted at least twice, in very public situations where she has been drinking since she left rehab. She recently did only a short stint in rehab, not even completing the recommended treatment program with the facility.

While her parents vowed to keep a close eye on her after rehab, Selena getting back with Justin was a game-changer and now they feel they have to do something more drastic because they know that Justin does drugs and drinks. They don’t want Selena tempted to get back into old habits…including her old habit name Justin. So, tell us what you think about this. Do you think her parents will stage an intervention, or is the Gossip Cop source right…the singer is doing just fine?

  1. Shiny says

If her parents aren’t planning one, they should be.

  2. Allie says

If her parents were smart, they’d do something. He’s not good for her.

  3. Janelle says

Maybe she’s just as bad as he is? She doesn’t seem so innocent to me.

  4. Pamela says

If she keeps hooking up with Bieber I wouldn’t blame them.

  5. DD says

She is a grown adult. An intervention would be good, but will it work?

  6. MK says

Someone needs to intervene to keep her away from Justin Bieber, he’s so the wrong guy for her but she’s going to have to learn that for herself!

  7. BusyBee says

She obviously makes terrible decisions on her own. Someone needs to step up.

  8. Allie says

We can hope there’s an intervention. Unfortunately, it won’t happen.

  9. Janelle says

The first step is recognizing you have a problem, the problem is Bieber.

  10. DD says

Yeah an intervention isn’t going to work when she doesn’t think she is doing anything wrong.
