I don’t know about you girls, but I extremely CHERISH my hair! I love to make my hair look good and changing it up with styling with various irons and changing the color! But coloring and styling your hair can cause damage, which is not something we all want! Well buying treatments for our hair to fix the damage can get really expensive! You would be surprised how various different foods can benefit in the health of your hair! This makes for a more cost effective treatment for your hair!
Avocado– Avocados benefit help to provide moisture for your hair as well as aiding in the growth of your hair! A great way to use avocado for your hair is to simply eat it! Or for a more effective direct method, you could smash up some avocados, as if you were making guacamole. Mix it with a bit of olive oil and apply it to your hair for 15-20 minutes!
Egg– Provides your hair with protein that creates strength, volume, shine, and texture! Just like eggs give your body protein when you eat them, cracking an egg open and applying it to your hair for 15-20 minutes will give your hair the necessary proteins it needs to be healthy and gorgeous looking!
Honey– Honey, although can get VERY messy and sticky while applying aids in preventing damage to your hair. So, since we do use that color and use those hot tools, the honey will help to prevent any damage caused by these things! For a really effective mask, mix honey, egg, and a little bit of olive oil!
Banana– Bananas help with thinning, dry, and frizzy hair. This remedy is for those of us who have dry, brittle, and frizzy hair! Like the rest of these foods, you can create an awesome oil mask treatment by mashing up bananas, mixing with oil and applying to the hair for 15-20 minutes
Mayonnaise– I know, this sounds disgusting. But trust me, you will never feel your hair softer than after you use a mayonnaise conditioner on your hair. It doesn’t smell very good, obviously but it is definitely worth it! A mayonnaise mask also helps to eliminate head lice if you ever were to need to use it!
