Lucy Hale’s Dream of Playing The Grand Ole Opry Comes True

You would maybe think that starring on one of the hottest shows on television would be the coolest thing ever for Lucy Hale – and it probably is- but her career aspirations sure didn’t stop there. The Pretty Little Liars star’s biggest dream was to be able to play onstage at The Grand Ole Opry and it recently came true. Her debut country album dropped back on June 3rd and she was fortunate enough to be able to take one of the most famous stages in the world, so early in her career.

Lucy recently spoke about how easy it is for her to want to leave all of the trappings of Hollywood behind in order to focus on the Nashville music scene. It’s interesting how focused she is and how Lucy really seems to know what career path suits her the best. So many young stars end up being cookie cutter images of each other. They do as they are told and let agents and producers mold them and chart their career paths. Not Lucy though. She has landed  on one of the hottest shows around and rather than continue on the same path it seems more likely that she’ll make a right hand turn towards Nashville.

Do you love Lucy’s work on Pretty Little Liars? Do you hope that she finds a way to balance acting with her blooming music career? Do you think that she can successfully continue to do both or do you think that Lucy is already dropping clues that once PLL wraps up she’ll be leaving Hollywood behind?
