Fifth Harmony and peta2, the youth division of PETA, have teamed up to spread awareness of animal cruelty. The group, who earned stardom on ‘X Factor,’ have joined forces for the ‘Be an Angel for Animals‘ and share ways you can earn your halo and help prevent animal cruelty.
“You don’t need wings or a halo to be an ‘angel’ for animals,” says Lauren Jauregui. Camila Cabello adds, “Always adopt—never buy animals from pet stores or breeders. And always spay or neuter.” And Normani Kordei says, “Never leave cats or dogs unattended outside.” Ally Brooke urges everyone to “Say no to circuses that exploit and abuse animals,” and Dinah Jane Hansen encourages, “Keep cruelty out of your closet. Don’t buy clothing with real fur or fur trim.“
Fifth Harmony is just one group of the many celebs including P!nk, Jhené Aiko, Rachel Crow, Cody Simpson, and many others—who have teamed up with peta2. The motto sums up the situation. “Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.”

This is a great organization for the youth to be a part of! All our animals are rescues and they are all neutered.

We always try to adopt animals or get them from people we know. Our oldest dog came from the pound, she has need a wonderful addition to the family. Then we got one of my sister in laws puppies and our third cane from a friend of a friend. Thank you Fifth Harmony and peta2 for standing up for pound puppies and cats.
I’ve never heard of the group. It’s nice that they are doing this.
What a great initiative by Fifth Harmony. I love the advice that they gave to those who are considering having pets in their home.
I think it’s great to encourage teens to advocate for and be aware of animal rights issues. However, I don’t support Peta or Peta2 for a long list of reasons! Despite the fact that I do care greatly about animal rights.
I remember when that group formed. I’m glad to hear that they’re supporting animals this way!
It is always good that teen embrace causes. Animal cruelty is dear to me and I am glad celebs are joining the wagon to raise awareness
I agree with a lot of what they’re saying about adopting animals and getting them sterilized. It is good to support animal rights. However, I do not support or agree with the hypocritical nature of PETA.
