Easy Fudge Recipes Kids Will Enjoy Making

Gone are the days when fudge only came in a few flavors like chocolate and peanut butter. Nowadays, there are so many fun things to do with fudge. So, gather up the kids and head to the kitchen for some fun and easy fudge making. Here are some easy fudge recipes kids will enjoy making.

Gumdrop Fudge

Ingredients:

1 ¾ pounds of white candy melts, chopped coarsely
14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup of gumdrop candies, chopped

Directions:

1. Line a square baking pan with aluminum foil and set aside.

2. In a saucepan, over low heat, add in candy melts and condensed milk and stir until candy melts are melted.

3. Remove from heat and add in vanilla and gumdrop candies.

4. Add mixture to baking pan, cover and place in the refrigerator for 3 hours or until firm.

Tootsie Roll Fudge

Ingredients:

14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk
½ stick of butter or margarine
2 cups of small Tootsie Rolls
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of pecans, coarsely chopped

Directions:

1. Spray a square baking pan with nonstick spray.

2. In a saucepan, over medium-low heat, add in milk, butter or margarine and Tootsie Rolls.

3. Stir until the Tootsie Rolls are melted. Remove from heat and add in vanilla extract and pecans and blend well.

4.Add mixture to baking pan and refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm.

Colorful Marshmallow Fudge

Ingredients:

3 cups of chocolate chips
2 tablespoons of butter
14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of colored mini marshmallows

Directions:

1. Line a square baking pan with wax paper and set aside.

2. In a saucepan, over medium-low heat, add in chocolate chips, butter and condensed milk.

3. Stir until chocolate chips have melted.

4. Remove from heat and add in vanilla extract and mini marshmallows and blend well.

5. Add mixture to baking pan and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until firm.

    Tootsie Roll fudge? I think I have died and gone to heaven. I cannot wait until the twins are big enough to help grandma out in the kitchen! I’m looking forward to lots of baking and cooking with them.
