Last night Material Girl celebrated at Macy’s Herald Square with Sofia Richie. Richie kicked off the brand’s 5th birthday party by posing for photos with fans, hitting the DJ booth, and getting flash tattoos. She was also caught taking selfies with her Material Girl fall campaign ad and snapchatting the party from the MG account.

Nicole Richie’s little sister isn’t so little anymore! The 16-year-old beauty was named the new Material Girl model in July of 2015. “I am a Madonna obsesser since I was 5,” Sofia told People. “So, it’s insane that this is happening.”

As far as her fashion inspirations, beyond Madonna, Sofia often looked to her big sis for style. “I would steal clothes out of my sister’s closet, like, all day. She would fall asleep and I would go in there and grab a bunch of stuff. I felt like a full-on thief, but I guess that’s what sisters are for: stealing clothes.”
