All women should have at least three lip liners in their cosmetic bag and should be pencil liners. These three colors should include a light pink, a medium-dark red and a medium fuchsia. The light pink should be used underneath lip gloss, the medium-dark red should be used for special occasions as well as when applying a lipstick that is orange or red based and the medium fuchsia should be used when applying a lipstick that contains various hues of pink.
If you wear lipstick on a regular basis, there are some other lip liners you should have in your cosmetic bag. A neutral sand lip liner is ideal for using with lipsticks that are neutral in color, a mocha lip liner is ideal if you wear brown shades of lipstick and a dark purple lip liner goes well with lipsticks that are purple based and dark in coloring.

When it comes to applying lip liner, there are some things you need to keep in mind. If you are using a pencil liner, be sure to always keep it sharpened since using a dull lip liner can produce a muddy lip line. When applying lip liner, don’t use the exact tip of the pencil since this can make the line on your lips look very harsh. If you have small lips, you can make them appear fuller by lining outside the natural lines of your lips.
I’m not used to using lip liners, so this is helpful! Thanks! They definitely make the lipstick pop and look better.
