J-14 magazine, the number one teen celebrity magazine on newsstands today, announces that beloved actress Candace Cameron Bure and her 17-year-old daughter, Natasha, have been named teen advice columnists for the publication’s “Life’s Big Questions” column.

The Fuller House star and co-host of The View, who is a mom to three teens herself, will answer J-14 readers’ toughest questions – with advice and insight from her daughter – debuting the first of six columns in the May issue, on newsstands nationwide March 14.

Candace shares, “Natasha and I can’t wait to team up and pass along our generational experiences to readers of J-14! Natasha will be able to relate to what it is like to be a teen in 2016, offering quick and current advice. I’ll offer advice from a mother/adult perspective, but let’s not forget…I was a teen once, too!”

“Life’s Big Questions” has been a mainstay in J-14 magazine since its inception in 2010. Past contributors include singer Alexa Ray Joel and actress Elizabeth Berkley. The column has been a trusted source for readers from across the country to submit their most personal questions seeking advice about important teen issues. Candace and Natasha’s first column in J-14 will tackle topics including common teen pressures in high school: Bullying, sending racy photos to boys, being honest with parents – and more.

“J-14 has long been a safe and secure environment for today’s girls, helping them to become tomorrow’s confident women. That’s why I’m thrilled to team up with Candace, someone I personally grew up admiring on Full House,” says Brittany Galla, J-14 magazine’s editorial director. “With her heartfelt and thoughtful advice — as well as having her daughter, Natasha, as her sounding board — Candace is the perfect person to provide her insight to our readers. I know that they both will be the perfect additions to our long-standing column.”

For Candace’s first column, pick up the new issue of J-14 magazine, on newsstands nationwide March 14.

I’d be curious to check this out. Candace Cameron Bure is a great role model for young girls. I wish that Fuller House reflected that side of her, we were disappointed with how much sexual reference there is on that show. (and how much skin Stephanie shows) I will remember to look for this next week!

This sounds like great column. I had not heard of this, I know my daughter is a pre-teen so I love to read anything that may help us out with things as she gets older.

I can’t think of a better person to host the column. What a great idea.

I was a huge fan of Full House, I have two sisters, the three of us were the exact same ages as the characters, my older sister was DJ’s age, I was the middle child and the same age as Stephanie, and my baby sister was the same age as Michelle. We felt like that show was made for us and about us, and we literally grew up with those characters, learning from them and their growing pains. I just watched Fuller House and while I didn’t love it as much as the original show it was entertaining and I am happy to see Candace will be helping a new generation of children with their own growing pains.
