The reason for this is that more of the skin is exposed during the summer and applying perfume to exposed skin can cause your skin to look like a bunch of leopard spots. Perfume contains alcohol, which is extremely photosensitive. The good news is that there are other ways you can wear perfume on your body during the summer months.

After washing your hair in the morning, apply your favorite perfume to the ends of your hair while it is still wet. This way, when you move your hair around, the scents will be released into the air.
