Home Remedies for Dry or Itchy Scalp
Having a dry or itchy scalp is probably one of the most annoying things. You are always scratching your head because it is itchy all the time. Here are some great home remedies for dry or itchy scalp.
Lemon juice contains antiseptic properties, making it great for an itchy scalp. Just pour some lemon juice onto your scalp, allow to set for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water. You can do this on a daily basis or at least 2-3 times a week.

Baking soda is great for relieving dry and itchy scalp because it exfoliates the scalp and also controls dandruff. You are going to make a paste using baking soda and water. Apply the paste right onto your scalp, allow to set for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Aloe Vera features moisturizing properties which will help with the scalp dryness. You can use Aloe Vera gel and squeeze some onto your hands, then apply directly to your scalp. Allow to set for 20-25 minutes and rinse with warm water. You can do this once a week.

Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil contains antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammation properties, helping to relieve dry and itchy scalp. Once a week, combine 3 drops of tea tree oil and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Then, apply to the scalp and massage it in. There is no rinsing and you should only have to do this for 2-3 weeks.
Banana and Avocado
Bananas feature properties that are moisturizing and nourishing, relieving a dry and itchy scalp. Unpeel two bananas and mash them up in a bowl. Then, unpeel and mash up an avocado in with the bananas. Mix together well, apply directly to your scalp and allow to set for 30-35 minutes. Then, just rinse with warm water. You can repeat this 2-3 a month.
