Great Valentine’s Day Party Game Ideas

Great Valentine’s Day Party Game Ideas

So, you are hosting a Valentine’s Day party at home, right? You have the menu planned out but you have no idea what to do for party games, do you? Well, that’s okay because we have some of the best party games for you to play.

Guess the Couple Game

As you can tell by the title, this game is for couples. As each couple arrives to the party, have them write down on a piece of paper, an interesting fact about their relationship, but do not include any names. Any fact will work, like they only dated for 2 months before they were engaged or they meet at Dunkin Donuts. After all the guests have arrived, give each couple a piece of paper. They have to read the couple’s interesting fact and then guess who that fact pertains to.

Name the Love Song

As the party host, you are in charge of this game. Before the guests arrive to the party, write down 2 or 3 song lyrics from popular love songs, on sheets of paper. Need some ideas? How about Mariah Carey’s Dreamlover- “I want a lover who knows me. Who understands how I feel inside.” Or Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me- “You were my strength when I was weak. You were my voice when I couldn’t speak.” Then, gather your guests around, read the song lyrics aloud and see if they can guess what the song title is.

Conversation Hearts Guessing Game

Before the party starts, fill a clear jar with conversation hearts. Be sure you count, and remember, the number of candies that are in the jar. When all the party guests have arrived, hand each person a slip of paper and a pen. Have them guess how many candy hearts are in the jar. The person who guesses the closest gets to take the jar and the candy home.
