General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Wants to Put Cameron Back in the Friend Zone – Is That How She REALLY Feels?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) may not have entirely honest with her good friend, Cameron Webber (William Lipton). GH fans know that when Trina let Cameron off the hook for kissing her, it’s entirely possible that she did so because she really felt she had no chance with him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Trina’s Conflicting Emotions

GH fans may recall with horror the extremely awkward kiss shared by Trina and Cameron following their ordeal at the hands of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) thugs. For those who don’t remember, Cameron and Trina were on their way to a school dance when they were kidnapped. Both Cameron and Trina suffered some severe emotional trauma with Trina’s father being killed, and Cameron witnessing at least one thug being shot.

Afterward, Cameron and Trina grew close due to their shared experience. Some believe that Cameron confused his feelings of deep friendship with Trina for romantic ones. Apparently, Trina believed Cameron was confused too, and so she gallantly let Cameron off the hook for the kiss they shared. The problem here, is that Cameron may not have been the only one with pent up feelings he didn’t understand.

General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Freaked Out

Here’s the deal, Trina freaked out over her kiss with Cameron because she believed that Cameron truly loved Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). If Cameron loves Joss, then obviously he cannot love Trina. Right? One would think that Trina’s assessment of the situation makes perfect, logical sense. That is, until you consider the fact that Trina might be making assumptions she shouldn’t.

It’s apparent to many GH viewers that Trina has hidden feelings for Cameron. She likely had secret feelings for Cameron long before he kissed her. Trina’s desire to put Cameron back in the friend zone extends primarily from the fact that she either feels she’s intruding on a long-standing desire of Cameron’s to be with Joss, or she’s scared of where a relationship with Cameron might lead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Needs Help

The truth is, many GH fans believe that Trina needs to stop taking a back seat to her desires. It’s obvious that Joss is more into Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) than she is Cameron. She and Dev seem to share way more chemistry than Joss and Cameron ever did. Moreover, how many chances has Cameron had to be with Joss? How many has Cameron totally wimped out on?

Regardless, who has been there for Trina when she’s had serious emotional issues over the death of her father? That’s right … it’s been Cameron. Many GH viewers will agree that the nature of his “being there” goes way beyond what regular friends would be. Cameron’s already acted as if he was Trina’s boyfriend.

The only question now, is whether Trina will backtrack on her push to make Cameron back off. If she doesn’t, Trina could be making a mistake she’ll regret in later years. In the estimation of many fans, the bottom line is that for Trina, Cameron ought to be the love that cuts the deepest.
