‘Alaskan Bush People’: Bear Brown Grateful For Friends After Wildfires Destroy Home
Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown has been posted updates regarding the Washington wildfires. Unfortunately, the family’s property was destroyed by the destructive flames. In a new update on Instagram, the reality star shared his gratitude despite everything the family has lost. Bear wrote about being thankful to have real friends during trying times like these.
Washington Wildfires Destroy Family Home
The Brown family moved from Alaska to Washington after Ami Brown was diagnosed with lung cancer. The matriarch was advised that it would not be in her best interest to live off the grid while receiving treatment. So, the family packed up and moved to Washington. On their new land, they got to work building a new cabin and necessary infrastructure for the livestock.
However, their dream would come crashing down. Not only did they have to deal with a harsh winter, dwindling supplies, and COVID-19, but wildfires began ravaging the area, which put the area in a state of emergency on August 21. Unfortunately, the Brown family lost their new home and their land now is completely barren.
Bear Brown Grateful For Friends
The cast of Alaskan Bush People has found refuge with friends during this trying time. Bear recently updated fans on Instagram to share his gratitude. Posting a simple photo of himself holding a red fan in one hand, he wrote, “It’s always nice to have friends! Ones that really care about you! Especially in tough times.”
