'Alaskan Bush People': Bear Brown Staying In Hotel, Long Journey Ahead For Family

Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown and his family were forced to leave their new home due to the wildfires raging throughout Washington. Unfortunately, they lost their new home and the land is now a barren wasteland. In an update on Instagram, Bear revealed that he is currently staying in a hotel. The Brown family is going to have a long journey ahead of them.

Staying in Oroville, Washington Hotel

On Instagram, the reality TV personality revealed on August 24 that he is currently staying in a hotel. As he previously stated on social media, he and his family is safe from the wildfires that have destroyed his new home and land. He wrote, “Ugh! Been having to stay in a hotel in [Oroville, Washington] the past few days!”

Bear Brown Thankful for Friends

Just two days earlier, the Alaskan Bush People star posted a picture of a red handheld fan. In that Instagram post, Bear talked about how he was extremely thankful for good friends during this trying time. Fans wrote in the comments section about how he and his entire family have more friends than they realize.

“It’s always nice to have friends! Ones that really care about you! Especially in tough times.”

Alaskan Bush People: Wildfires Destroy Home

On August 19, Bear told his fans and followers on social media that the wildfire had swept through the mountain and their home. He has kept everyone updated, including taking a picture of the destruction. However, he insists that the Brown family has no intention of giving up on their home.

On the Facebook page for Alaskan Bush People, it was explained that the fires were still raging on August 23. Even though their home has been destroyed, they were thankful that everyone made it out safely. They also took the time to thank firefighters and other first responders.

About North Star Ranch

The family moved from Alaska to Washington and got to work building a cabin and other infrastructure. As fans saw during the season 12 premiere of Alaskan Bush People, the family encountered some obstacles. Eventually, the property would be called North Star Ranch and it was their new home. However, the Brown family is going to have a long journey ahead to rebuild their lives.
