Dancing With The Stars Spoilers: Which DWTS Pros Have Racked up the Most Appearances?

Dancing With the Stars spoilers reveal that the show returns this season with a bunch of changes including a new host, a new format, and new COVID-19 protocols. One thing hasn’t changed however and that is the baker’s dozen of consummate dancing pros.

Fans can count on a top-notch crew this season: Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, and Emma Slater.

Thirteen pros will compete for the mirrorball trophy

Do you think you know your DWTS trivia? Here are the pros who have compiled the most appearances to date.

Julianne Hough

Julianne has competed on 147 episodes. She won the 2015 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography for her work on DWTS.

Sharna Burgess

Sharna Burgess has 150 episodes under her belt. She joined the show as a dance troupe member in Season 13 and three years later was promoted to pro status.

Val Chmerkovskiy

Val has a whopping 173 episodes to his name. He first appeared in Season 2. He’s been a pro since Season 13 and he has won the mirrorball trophy twice—not bad!

Kym Johnson Herjavec

Kym is also another two-time winner and she has been in 191 episodes. Additionally, she has pulled double duty, appearing as a pro on the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars.

Karina Smirnoff

Karina has racked up 228 episodes. She has hoofed it up with Apolo Anton Ohno and Steve Wozniak and she is DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s ex-fiancée.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Maksim edges out his brother in the performance category with 232 episodes. He won with Olympian Meryl Davis in Season 18 and is married to fellow DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd.

Tony Dovolani

Tony has 233 episodes to his name and he also has a film credit on his resume. He coached Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere for the 2004 film Shall We Dance? and the pro also appeared in the film as the character Slick Willy.

Mark Ballas

Next up is Mark with 252 episodes as a DWTS pro. Like Tony he also has some big-screen experience: He played a Hogwarts student in the film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Derek Hough

Derek has accrued 272 episodes, and like the Chmerkovskiy brothers, he also has a sibling on the show, Julianne Hough. Derek is the all-time mirrorball winner, having earned it a record six times. Joining him in his wins were partners Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler, Amber Riley, and Bindi Irwin.

Cheryl Burke

Cheryl has been on the show 304 times. Cheryl competed in every DWTS season between Season 2 and Season 19, then popped up occasionally.
