ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates reveals Real Andrews, who plays Marcus Taggert, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) long time cop nemesis recently credited G.H. fans for his character’s return. Real also speaks about other actors that he would like to return to the G.H. set.
General Hospital Updates – Taggert Was Dead
The General Hospital star states that his character was dead. Real thought that his run on the soap was done and Taggert would never return. However, fan speculation leads to the popular character’s resurrection. Real is certainly happy that Taggert is back on the set and commends the writers and producers on bringing his character back.
However, Real believes that the fan reaction to his return is 99.9% of the reason that Taggert survived his shooting. Fans will remember that Taggert was shot trying to save his daughter Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) from Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) henchmen. Taggert later died in the hospital.
GH Spoilers – The Comeback Story Is Amazing
General Hospital’s Real says that the comeback story that the writers came up with is amazing. Fans know that the story is that Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry), with the help of the FBI, set up Taggert in witness protection and gave him a new identity. No one, including Taggert’s daughter and ex-wife, has any idea that he survived. However, everyone involved has yet to be revealed. If G.H. writers choose to listen to the fans, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) will be instrumental in Taggert’s survival and the eventual demise of Cyrus.
General Hospital – Who Would Real Andrews Like To See Return To G.H?
General Hospital’s Real states that he would Sarah Brown (former Carly #1 and Claudia Zachara Corinthos) whose last stint on the show ended in 2009 when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) killed his evil step-mother who tried to steal his baby sister Jocelyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Michael hit Claudia to get Jocelyn away from her and accidentally killed her.
Real’s second choice for a return is A Martinez who played Roy DiLucca. Roy was Bobbie Spencer’s former lover and Luke Spencer’s former partner. Roy’s return is unlikely at this point as he is about to reprise his Days of Our Lives role of Eduardo Hernandez.
Now it is time to set back and see how Taggert’s return will play out. However, Taggert working with Sonny to bring down Cyrus is something that a lot of fans want. Will Taggert work with the Corinthos organization to bring down a man who is much worse than Sonny? Will this alliance help save Port Charles and the hospital from Cyrus Renault?
