General Hospital News Update: The Scarola Twins (Avery Corinthos) Show Us They Are Ready For Covid Testing

ABC General Hospital news and updates tease that the ABC sudser is doing everything in its power to keep the cast and crew safe back on the set following the coronavirus pandemic. As a condition of returning to production, GH as well as the other three daytime dramas must enforce rigorous COVID-19 safety protocols. This includes the use of face masks, regular testing, and social distancing.

Now the parents of Ava and Grace Scarola (Avery Corinthos) are giving fans a glimpse into what it’s like to observe the mandatory precautions.

The two girls, like everyone else on set, receive regular COVID testing as a part of the conditions required to be on set. And as a recent picture they posted to Insta shows, everyone is doing their part to keep production safe and running smoothly.

There are two pics, one with one of the twins with her mask on, and the other shows the nasal swab test being performed, with the caption, “Covid tests are become our new norm. So thankful for a gentle nose swab and the opportunity to get back to work.”

This no doubt means that the girls were preparing for scenes as Avery Corinthos, the daughter of a mob boss and coffee importer Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and art gallery owner Ava Jerome (Maura West).

The twins’ fans loved the pics and knowing that their health is being put first and foremost. One fan posted, “Yay, glad they are back on set. Be safe everyone ty for doing what you do to entertain us. Brave girls, I heard those things are painful,” and another wrote, “Awww! Does this mean we get to see them on GH again? ❤️.”

One fan shared, “First time was like scraping the brain. The second time was much better. Maybe they’ve improved it.”

Avery Corinthos found Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) half heart necklace and as such she holds the key to a very big mystery involving Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Maybe the twins were back on set to film crucial scenes that expose the necklace and the identity of its wearer?

Today Nina made funeral arrangements for Nelle when Julian Jerome (William deVry) refused to do so. Will she find out that she is burying her daughter?
