Dancing With the Stars News: Alum Julianne Hough Now Dating British Actor Ben Barnes?
Dancing With the Stars news discloses that alum pro dancer Julianne Hough and actor Ben Barnes were photographed in public on Thursday sparking rumors of a romance.
Hough was married to former hockey player Brooks Laich for three years before filing for divorce in November. British actor Barnes played Logan in HBO’s Westworld and Billy Russo in Netflix’s The Punisher. He next appears in the Netflix show Shadow and Bone in April.

Hough and Barnes were spotted having a leisurely walk in LA outside of Salt & Straw, both enjoying ice cream cones. A witness to their interaction told E! News that the fun pair debated over who would pay for their ice cream treat before Barnes ponied up the cash. Then they reportedly walked to their car in the parking lot and the source said they appeared, “very friendly.”
Additionally it was reported that Barnes had a brown bag with the message, “You’ve made my day. Proud of you.”
A second source told E! News that Barnes and Hough, “have been friends for eight years,” and there is “nothing more to it.”

Hough and Barnes more last photographed together in Los Angeles in April 2020. The next month Hough and Laich announced their separation and Hough filed for divorce in November.
“We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,” they said in a statement released in May. “We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward.”

Dancing With the Stars News: Has Julianne Hough Found Love Again?
This month a source told Entertainment Tonight Julianne felt, “like she hasn’t had a chance to live her life to the fullest,” and needed, “even more time to discover herself.”
In contrast, during an episode of the How Men Think podcast in November, Laich said he was crying, “all the time.
He added that, “I’ve learned how to honor emotions at the moment and let them come up and through me and out of me, and a lot of times that’s through crying.”
He also said, “I played pro hockey for 15 years, threw dudes into dudes. I’m a dude. But I love being able to release emotion truthfully, organically, in the moment [and] not suppress it.”
