Season 29 of DWTS ended in November but not before a bit of change and a lot of controversy. There was a new host in Tyra Banks, and due to COVID precautions there was not a studio audience present to witness the fabulous performances. Pro dancer Derek Hough returned to the show but as a judge, not a dancer. He took the place of judge Len Goodman who was not able to travel due to COVID travel restrictions.

A Season 30 has not been announced yet but based on the great reception the show received, plus increased ratings, it seems destined.
