General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Asks Nina To Do A Crimson Cover Story On Sasha, Will Nina Agree?
General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will ask Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to do a cover story on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. The question is – will Nina agree?
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Was Very Hurt By Sasha Gilmore
General Hospital viewers will recall that Nina was very hurt by Sasha when she found out she had been paid by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to pose as her long-lost daughter. She wouldn’t talk to Sasha for months after the exposure, which was at her last wedding to Valentin. She obviously didn’t go through with the wedding, after Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) had overheard a conversation between Sasha and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in the restroom of the ill-fated Floating Rib.
Lulu was the one who very publicly told Nina about the fraud! This was also the night that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) brought her back to his then new house and let her stay the night on his couch. But in recent months, with time being the great healer, Nina has shown some care and compassion towards Sasha. Nina was among the first to reach out to her when she realized Sasha was in bad shape and on drugs to offer her support and shelter. Sasha had turned her down at that time, which was long before the heart attack she suffered as a result of hyped up cocaine given to her by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!
Now, Sasha had been censured by the investors and board of Deception Cosmetics because of the unwholesome image she portrayed by her drug use. But they didn’t fire her, they only amended her contracts. Still, it hurt the company’s name. That with Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (then played by Briana Lane) trying to fake sing her way through an important launch with a much-desired investor backfiring has caused Deception Cosmetics to be more infamous than famous.
General Hospital Spoilers – With The Voice Of Deception Gone Maxie Jones Must Promote With The Face Of Deception
With the Voice of Deception, which was Brook Lynn, gone, Maxie must promote Deception Cosmetics with the Face of Deception, which of course is Sasha. Maxie figures what better way to promote than through Crimson Magazine. There was an attempt to do so months earlier, but Nina was still too hurt to go along with the campaign. Maxie notes that Nina has been kind to Sasha more recently, so she decides to see if now Nina will do a cover story on Sasha.
She may spin it as a recovery story – a brave young woman who nearly died before she woke up to the dangers of drug use. She wants to paint Sasha as a good example to overcome her past of being a bad example. An “overcoming the odds” story may help counteract the bad publicity and yet not cover it up. Sasha is bent on taking down Cyrus herself but that of course would not be delved into.
Of course, Maxie has to consider her own history with Nina – she quit after Nina wouldn’t give her a big raise and started her own company with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). But it was Jax that overrode the raise, not Nina. Nina was not angry with Maxie as she wanted to give her the big raise – Maxie was her right hand woman! So, Maxie makes up a presentation and a proposal to Nina. This time, Nina may be more receptive!
