Alaskan Bush People Spoilers – Matt Brown Talks Slipping
In the video, the 37-year-old reality TV star confessed that he relapsed three times from his alcohol addiction. He said, “I hit a milestone- one year completely sober. For the past three years, I’ve been in sobriety, but I’ve slipped three times. And the last time I slipped was on the 20th of March last year.”
He went to say that “slips” happen and it’s human to struggle from time to time as life can be tough. Still, he added, “Never give up. Never surrender, and don’t surrender to fear.”
Alaskan Bush People Updates – Living Away from the Cameras
Matt Brown’s latest admission came more than a month after the passing of his father, Billy Brown. The Alaskan Bush People patriarch died on February 7 after a seizure. Matt, who has been living in the Golden State away from his family and the Discovery cameras, shortly revealed that he and his father had been estranged for a while. They were able to mend their relationship just before Billy passed away.
Matt shared that since he was aware that his father has been having health issues, he has an idea of what’s coming. He said that he is glad he reconciled with his father and found closure with him just before he left.

Matt has also been quiet on social media over the past months. He only posts once in a while. It was recently revealed that he is facing two charges of sexual assaults, which were filed by two women in 2018. It was the same time that he entered the rehab for the second time. Given these charges, it is unlikely to see Matt return to the Alaskan Bush People.
There are also reports that two of his brothers do not speak to him because of the charges. It is expected that Matt will live on his own for now and won’t be brought back to the show.
