Dancing With the Stars Spoilers: Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews Enjoy a Meet-up After Their Firings
Dancing With the Stars news reveals that former show hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews had a chance to catch up with each other this week nearly a year after they were unceremoniously dropped from the roles each held for years.
Tom posted a photo of the happy former partners enjoying a beverage at a restaurant in Calabasas and captioned it, “Reunited & it feels so good with @erinandrews.”
He also posted another pic of the pair as they said goodbye outside and Tom captioned it, “This reunion deserves another post.”

Erin replied to the post with three champagne emojis, showing that the pair clearly had a good time catching up on old times. “Love u,” she added.
She posted a photo from the celebration with a line sure to get fans speculating: “Always something in the works.”
Tom and Erin were let go as co-hosts of DWTS in July 2020. They were replaced with Tyra Banks for Season 29 and it appears her job is secure for the foreseeable future.
Tom said at the time of the news, “Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career.”
Erin also posted to social media to say, “I will always cherish my days on that set, even if I wasn’t the best at walking in heels.”
Dancing With the Stars News: What’s Next for Tom Bergeron?
Tom hosted the show since the very beginning, its 2005 premiere. Erin was a competitor on season 10 with Maksim Chmerkovskiy in 2010 and took over hosting duties four years later.
The pair worked well together and after so many years many fans were offended by the choice to get rid of them and insert Banks. After the furor erupted, executive producer Andrew Llinares explained the controversial decision: “I think it’s all about evolution. I think any show like this that has been on many, many seasons needs to continue to evolve,’ he told reporters at the ABC VirtuFall panel in September 2020.”
“I think changing the host was all about evolution. It was about making the show feel fresh, making it feel new [and making] it reach out, maybe, to a new audience as well as the audience that’s been there for years.”

Tom was very gracious about his situation and said, “When people say, I’m not gonna watch until you’re back,” I say, “Well, there’s really no ‘until’ here.” This train has left the station”
“I appreciate the sentiment, and I don’t hold it against anybody if they [watch],” he added.
