Married At First Sight Spoilers: Will Erik’s Attitude Push Virginia Away?

Married At First Sight Spoilers: Will Erik’s Attitude Push Virginia Away?Married at First Sight spoilers and updates tease that 34-year-old Erik Lake and 26-year-old Virginia Coombs were matched on Lifetime’s MAFS because she is a “party girl” and Erik wanted to “come out of his shell.” Cast member, Dr. Viviana Coles admitted in a recent interview that they didn’t realize how much of “party” girl Virginia was.

Married At First Sight Spoilers – Virginia Coombs Takes Partying To A Whole New Level

From what we have seen so far on the show, Virginia is a party girl to the extreme and it is surprising that she can hold down a full-time job. She drinks from morning to night, to the point that we have seen her retching in the bathroom at the end of the evening and she admitted that she passes out on her male friend’s couches. In fact, fans are worried that she may become a full-blown alcoholic and she doesn’t “scale back” going out.

Is Eric Controlling and Condescending?

Nobody wants to come home and be told about your short comings’ day after day. But, in Erik’s defense, from what we have seen on the show so far, Virginia is certainly the extreme.

Erik has said that Virginia acts “single” and he is right. A wife doesn’t go out for four nights with male friends and passes out on their catch. And, to add insult to injury, she doesn’t think she has to call him and tell him where she is at. Virginia signed up to be married, and with that, you get a life-long partner, not a boyfriend who you are there for some of the time. Erik is most likely genuinely worried about her, he has shown that he cares about her and obviously he wouldn’t want her getting hurt.

Married At First Sight Updates – Fans Are Hoping For the Best

One Lifetime MAFS fan on Reddit said, “They’re in two different stages in their life. I give him props for being open about the future problems they will have. He’s not ignoring the issues, and it’s best to hop on them now instead of grinning and bearing it. Marriage takes some give & take…Eric met her guy friends and saw they were chill, so this will help with that trust issue there. Virginia doesn’t seem to realize that she needs to dial it back a bit with her partying ways…she seems to want to stay being that way.”

What do you think? Is there hope for this couple? Erik is a pilot, if Virginia would just scale back a bit and go out when he is not around, these two could make despite how different they are and the age difference. There is definitely strong chemistry between the two and they could have their happily ever after with a little compromise and adjusting.

Fans says that one of the worst husbands to be on MAFS was Zach Justice. He was the smooth talker that hit on his Mindy Shiben’s best friend. […]
