Dancing With The Stars Pros Are Forced to Cancel Their 2021 Tour
Two professional dancers on the Dancing With The Stars’ show recently delivered a sad news to their fans; they’ve finally canceled their tour previously scheduled for 2020. Valentin and Maks Chmerkovskiy officially canceled the performances on April 6, 2021.
Val Chmerkovskiy took to his Instagram account to share the news of the anticipated tour’s demise. “It is with great sadness and disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of our upcoming summer 2020 Maks & Val tour,” Chmerkovskiy wrote. “This breaks our hearts, as we LOVE what we do and the stage is our second home and you are our extended family!”
The Tour’s First Rescheduling
The tour was originally meant to take place in 2020, but like many other shows, it had to be canceled as a result of the global pandemic. The brothers hoped that they would be able to commence on the tour the next year, but it would sadly no longer happen.
“We’ve waited as long аs we could to make this decision in hopes there would be more clаrity аnd а cleаrer direction аs to how to make this possible,” Vаl Chmerkovskiy wrote. “Thankfully, there is so much progress being mаde, but this tour takes us to over 50 different cities across the country with а wide vаriety of sаfety restrictions in place. The sаfety of our cast, crew, and fans remains our number one priority.”
He assured the fans that there would be refunds to anyone who still had their tickets to the show, and further thanked them for their support which he hoped would continue.

Speaking of the future, the brothers have got their plans down and they’re holding a convention titled 24 Seven Dance Convention: adults and children are invited to attend.
Val recently shared about his passion to teach dance to kids and how much it means to him in an Instagram post. He added a video in which he and Johnson are seen dancing with little kids.
“Don’t forget about the kids,” he wrote. “Don’t forget where you came from. Being able to teach, inspire, and plant seeds of love and knowledge for the dance style that saved my life, is one if not the biggest joy in my life. The future of dance is very bright.”
He also encouraged people to see dance as something more than just about dancing. He said it could inspire commitment, hard work, determination and many other desirable traits.
