1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers: Season 3 Might Feature Chris Combs More Than Tammy Or Amy Slaton!
And for several reasons, the upcoming third season of 1000-Lb Sisters may give more time to Chris than to Amy and Tammy Slaton! Find out why below.
1000-Lb Sisters Introduces Chris Combs
Chris Combs began his time on 1000-Lb Sisters as a background character. In that role, he appeared mainly to show more depth to Amy and Tammy Slaton’s story. Note: Although some media articles have published stories referring to Chris as “Chris Slaton” rather than Combs, the 1000-Lb Sisters star has published his Cameo showing that his name is Chris Combs.
As a contrast to his initial appearances on the show, Chris increasingly has taken on a leading role. Viewers’ love for Chris shows on his social media.
While Tammy continues to garner complaints for failing to fulfill her Cameo requests, Chris has a Cameo review page full of compliments.
“Chris is the BEST!!! My sister loved it! We watch this show together. It’s our favorite!! We love you Chris,” wrote one fan.
“Christopher sent a nice message to my mom for Mother’s Day. She’s a big 1,000 lb Sisters fan. She got a kick out of it,” chimed in another.
1000-Lb Sisters Star Chris Combs Faces Weight Loss Challenges Himself
Chris has sought to support his sisters Tammy and Amy in their efforts to win at weight loss. But as viewers have seen, the Slaton siblings don’t make it easy!
Amy Slaton has used pregnancy cravings as an excuse to go off her diet. In contrast, Tammy Slaton repeatedly has failed to stick to her own weight loss plan.
And beyond his sisters’ struggles, Chris himself has challenges. Combs has also shared that like his sisters, his emotions often drive his overeating problems.
When Chris’ father was only 57-years-old, he died. His dad weighed as much as 500 pounds.
Combs still mourns the loss of his father and, at 41, fears following in his footsteps. But Chris works in the food industry, with his most recent job at McDonald’s.
At one point, Chris did seem to succeed in shedding pounds. Would he qualify, like Amy Slaton, for weight loss surgery?
1000-Lb Sisters Fans Worry About Sightings Of Chris Off-Camera
Chris currently is clearly struggling to achieve his weight loss goals. To support Tammy, he temporarily moved away from his wife Brittany Combs, with whom he’ll celebrate their five-year anniversary on October 15, 2021. Their two kids, son Brandon and daughter Emily, also worry about their dad.
And the kids aren’t alone. On social media, fans have seen a photo that appears to reveal Chris, sadly, having regained the weight he lost.
The picture shows Chris pushing Tammy. The devoted brother “worked so hard to lose” weight, as one fan wrote. But now he faces the challenge of losing it again.
As a result, season 3 of 1000-Lb Sisters might feature Chris leading the way for Tammy. Combs has made it clear that in contrast to his sister, he is determined to win at weight loss.
Moreover, having Chris as a co-star with Tammy and Amy would help viewers to empathize with the show. The repeated backlash against Tammy otherwise could potentially turn into a “cancel culture” situation. TLC, are you listening to viewers? We hope so!
