As a result of her username change, Tammy now has dropped the “queen” from her social media handles. And her new user name keeps life simple: “iamtammyslaton”

Now, some fans point out a possible reason for Tammy pulling the plug on social media: TLC ordered her to do so!

Believers in the rumor that TLC, rather than Tammy, ordered the clean slate on social media dished up several theories. 

First, while Slaton may like to see herself as a rebel without a cause, she is dependent on TLC for her income. As a result, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star probably knows she must obey the channel’s requests in order to bring home the bacon (literally). 

Second, both Tammy and Amy may have signed a lengthy 1000-Lb. Sisters contract that includes their use of social media. Such a contract would mean that Tammy could legally have no choice but to stop putting up so many revealing posts on Instagram ahead of Season 3.
