Charles Procter has been on the show before and as soon as he appeared, he gained a huge following. Not only is he handsome, but he is kind and a great surgeon. He performs gastric bypass surgeries for his patients and he is ready to help the Slaton sisters.

The weight loss journey of the Slaton sisters has not been easy for them. As soon as Amy Slaton thought that she was losing weight, she found out that she was pregnant. Now she is working on losing the baby weight that she needed to lose. Tammy Slaton, on the other hand, has continued to get into relationships with men who have fetishes for large women. This has been her downfall when it comes to losing weight.
With Dr. Procter here to help them, the Slaton sisters really need to get a better idea of what to expect if they want to have weight loss surgery. Amy has really been pushing herself to lose enough weight to have the surgery, but Tammy continues to eat poorly and is now living on her own.
1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers: Dr. Procter’s Life and Education
Dr. Procter has a lot to tackle these days with all of his patients. Dr. Procter always knew that he wanted to be a surgeon. His father was also a surgeon, but he went a different way.
He actually started pre-law at Miami University and then decided that he wanted to work in medicine. He went into pre-med at the University of Georgia. He wanted to explore medicine more and to become a bariatric surgeon.
The first time we saw Dr. Procter was on the TLC show, Family by the Ton. This is where he helped families lose weight and even though the show ended in 2018, he has made quite a name for himself. We are happy to see him again on 1000-Lb Sisters.
