The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and rumors tease that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) will bond over wanting to give their birth parents a chance in future episodes of The Bold and The Beautiful!
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers And Rumors – Similar Situations But Not Similar Parents
Even though longtime viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful know that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) may have some things in common, they are not as similar as Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang, Thorsten Kaye) seem to think! Deacon is Hope’s birth father, and Sheila is Finn’s birth mother, and both have done some prison time. The Forresters have a deep seated hatred for both of them – however, Deacon is nowhere near the same level of evil as Sheila.
Still, Brooke and Ridge consider them the same! Deacon did time for taking some pot shots at Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) in spite of having been married to her for a year. He confessed, and he did the crime so he did the time. Deacon was probably not without provocation, and Quinn married Eric Forrester (John McCook) shortly afterwards.
When Sheila attacked Quinn, it was to kill! Sheila was even accused of Deacon’s attacks until he confessed! Longtime viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall that Brooke, back in the day, warned Deacon against becoming involved with Quinn, now she’s ragging on Eric!
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers And Rumors – John “Finn” Finnegan Wants To Get To Know His Mother For Himself And Hope Spencer Wants Her Child To Know Her Father
Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful know that Finn would prefer to get to know Sheila for himself, and make up his own mind whether she’s as bad as the Forresters have told him, and be able to judge for himself if she’s changed over the years. He is caught between his wife and his birth mother, and he will lose his wife if he allows his birth mother in his and their son’s life! Hope worries that her husband and her mother and stepfather will do the same because she has chosen to let Deacon into her life!
In fact, Hope’s cabin is the first place Deacon went, at her invitation after he was released from prison – on good behavior. Deacon got an early release, and if he had been all that bad of a person he certainly would still be under lock and key! Hope did want to give Ridge, Liam and Brooke a heads-up – but was so afraid of their disapproval she never told them she was writing to Deacon when he was in prison.
Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful learned she had started writing to him when she thought baby Beth Spencer (River Davison) had died. In reality, she was living with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) as baby Phoebe!
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers And Rumors– Hope Spencer And John Finnegan Are Already Close Friends
Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful know that Hope and Finn are already close friends – they got to know each other pretty well through the trials and tribulations the family has been through prior to Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s (Piper Harriot) birth. It was Finn who Hope called when she realized that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was seriously ill, and confused a mannequin with her! Liam did too, but that just made her mad and almost broke them up for good, as viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall!
Finn saved Thomas’ life and was the one who diagnosed the brain aneurysm that gave him hallucinations, but also nearly killed him! Hope and Finn confide their very similar situations and frustrations concerning their families’ attitudes against their birth parents, and soon form a very deep bond. Hope can understand their families’ fears about Sheila, based on their past experiences, but she also believes people can change and become better. She’s seen it happen with Thomas! But Finn acknowledges that care needs to be taken where Sheila is concerned – because even his father Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is worried about her appearance!
