Married at First Sight couple Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are doing everything to save their marriage, even if it means selling everything they have. The reality stars have been very open about their marital issues lately and even revealed plans of getting a divorce.
However, Jamie and Doug are not giving up on their love and family. The couple set aside their issues and continue to work on their marriage. And now, they just made the most drastic move in an attempt to make things go back to normal.
MAFS: Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner Sells House For $600k?
Earlier this week, Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner surprised their fans by announcing their decision to sell their home and almost all their possessions. The Married at First Sight couple made the bold move amid their marital problems.
According to reports, Jamie and Doug’s New Jersey home was priced at $599,000, but the couple claimed it was already sold. The stunning abode sits on a one-acre lot in Jackson and is described as something “straight out of a magazine.”
“Selling our home & pretty much everything in it feels FREEING,” Jamie wrote on Instagram. “Not gonna lie though, we already got in our first disagreement.”
Jamie and Doug Hope To Save Marriage
Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are now gearing up for RV life. The Married at First Sight couple is in the process of setting up everything they need, including getting the RV itself and where they will park it.
Doug and Jamie hope that moving into the RV will help save their marriage. The couple admits they’ve discussed getting a divorce in the past but decided to set it aside and work on their marriage.
Married at First Sight: Jamie and Doug Looking Forward To RV Life
Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner revealed they sold about 80% of their possessions. The Married at First Sight couple is optimistic about their decision.
“We are moving our family of 4 into an RV and we are hoping that by decluttering & simplifying our lives we will be able to strengthen our marriage & focus on what’s most important in life: family & love,” Jamie wrote on Instagram.
The MAFS stars promised to share their new journey with their fans on social media. They’re also looking forward to spending more time together on the road or in a campsite as they start their RV life together.
