The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will coerce Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) into turning over his intel on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to him in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Tracked Down Jesse Gaines Jr.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) had a private investigator track down Jesse Gaines Jr. (Jamison Jones) after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) paid him off. Billy wanted all of Gaines’ secrets, but he told him no dice unless he could offer him protection. The Mustache apparently gave Gaines a good scare along with a good deal of money! Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) hired a private investigator to follow Billy, and that investigator reports back to Adam that Billy has tracked down Gaines.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that the business world is all about optics – and what a heavily publicized scandal would do to Newman Media and Newman Enterprises, which is in the process of a merger with Locke Communications. Ashland confessed all to Victoria upon arriving at the Newman palazzo in Tuscany, preparing for their wedding.

It had turned out there were some things that could cause a huge scandal – Locke had worked with Jesse Gaines, Sr. (uncast character) to alter Camilla Rhodes’ (uncast character) will to make him the beneficiary. That is what Jesse Jr. has been blackmailing Locke over for years. Victoria was shocked.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Investigator Reports Back

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Adam’s investigator report back to Adam that Gaines and Billy met. In the meantime, Victor has had his own security team following Gaines. He tells Adam that he thinks Billy has something to do with Gaines slipping away from security. The truth is out between Ashland and Victoria, but Gaines still has leverage – he has a letter from Camilla stating Ashland wasn’t supposed to get any inheritance. She wanted her money to go to charity, specifically one dealing with homeless animals.

Victor cannot let “Billy Boy” make this information public just to sell a scandal sheet! Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Adam is keeping an eye on Billy and he he and Victor know they have to get this letter from Gaines. Victor takes concern that perhaps Billy got a copy – and even if he didn’t, even the possibility that he may know of it concerns Victor greatly! If this information was to go public, Newman Enterprises, in the midst of a merger with Locke Communications, could suffer!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Has Leverage Over Billy Abbott

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Billy’s been no angel over the years himself, and there are plenty of things that Victor knows of that he can use as leverage over him. For one thing, there’s the post-traumatic memories that caused Billy to develop dissociative identity disorder a few years back. Billy, not in his right mind with grief over his daughter with Chloe Mitchell, (Elizabeth Hendrickson) Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) tried to set up Adam to run him over in the same spot that Adam accidentally ran over Delia several years back. If it had not been for Chloe picking up on something wrong and following him, Adam may have been killed.

Chloe pushed him out of the way and Billy wrecked and broke his leg – Chloe, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Victoria herself helped Billy through the trauma. Billy had also sent Adam over a cliff to his presumed death shortly after the tragedy happened. But there are other things that Victor knows of that he can use to coerce Billy to give up his intel on Locke and Gaines! Victor will look to corner Billy in a way he’ll be forced to give up everything he’s found out to Victor, or suffer the consequences!
