Tammy Slaton of 1000-Lb. Sisters has Childish Outburst at a Public Pool

While exercising at the local public swimming pool, with nurse Tisa, the 1000-Lb. Sisters alum throws a childish tantrum.

Tammy Slaton’s family, friends, and doctors have been on her case about being more consistent with her exercise plan. Viewers have witnessed Tammy fight all those who venture to help her, at every turn.

In the teaser for the upcoming episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, it appears that Tammy is making progress. So, with the help of her home health nurse, Tisa, Tammy heads to the public swimming pool to get some much-needed exercise via a water aerobics class and, though she seems to enjoy the class, she and Tia exchange words that eventually set Tammy off in one of her tantrums fans know so well. Read on to find out what went down.

Tammy Acts Like a Toddler

In previous episodes it has usually been Tammy and her sister Amy that go to the public pool together for exercise and, though the two usually have a lot of fun together, it’s always painfully obvious that Tammy has a lot more difficulty than her sister especially when getting in and out of the pool.

In the preview for the upcoming episode, however, it’s not Amy we see by Tammy’s side but her home health nurse, Tisa. To start, she seems happy and able to get into the pool on her own without help from Tisa.

It seems Tisa is having trouble getting Tammy to focus as she keeps playing around in the pool like a toddler with pool-goers staring at her. Tisa scolds her like a schoolchild for not listening and yet, she continues misbehaving.

Tantrum Time at the Public Pool

Later, in a one-on-one interview, Tisa jokes that the senior citizens in the class are moving more than Tammy, the youngest person there. When the class ends, Tisa tells Tammy it’s time to go and that’s when the real difficulty begins. Though tammy manages to get herself out of the pool without assistance, she walks several feet and just sits down.

Tisa offers to help her by carrying her shows so they can walk together to the car. This is when Tammy begins whining and making excuses. “I can’t walk back there; the floor is wet.” After a lot of whining and Tisa refusing to get her wheelchair, Tammy finally gives in, but it looks like it might get rough between the two of them as the season progresses. Tammy likes to do what she likes to do and she’s a tough safe to crack.
