1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers: Tammy Slaton’s New Therapist, Fans Not Loving Her

1000-Lb Sisters spoilers reveal that Tammy Slaton has a new therapist and fans aren’t quite sure about her. We all know that Tammy does need some help with her weight and finding the motivation to lose it. She has been doing some water aerobics and other workouts, but she needs some mental help as well. Her new therapist is named Dr. Nia Hansen.

Why Fans Don’t Trust Her

As soon as new cast members pop into the lives of our favorite reality show stars, we are hesitant to see their role. Dr. Hansen’s role is to help out Tammy with losing weight and her overall mental health. Tammy has gotten down to 550 pounds, but she really does need to lose more in order to receive gastric bypass surgery. She has a clear food addiction that she can’t shake.

When Tammy had a meeting with her therapist, she talked about how insecure she is. Dr. Nia doesn’t seem as if she is very warm toward Tammy though. Even fans of the show felt that there was just something missing with their conversation. Does this mean that Tammy will look for another therapist?

Fan Reactions

Fans thought that Tammy’s first interview with Dr. Nia was cold. Another wrote, “You have to put her at ease and comfort or you will get nothing in return from Tammy.” We all know that Tammy has a bit of an attitude and this is why her therapist does need to be calm and welcoming. Dr. Nia didn’t seem that way at all from what we saw on the show.

One more fan wrote on Reddit, “Dr. Nia seemed incredibly awkward and Tammy does need someone to be a little harsher on her.” Fans seem to all have their own opinions about the state of Tammy’s therapist, but from what we have seen, Tammy does need help with her mental state. If it’s a tough or loving therapist, we will have to just wait and see what happens next on the show.
