But Amy also couldn’t resist spilling additional details in her caption. “Gage is going to be a big brother in July 2022. I’m due July 18th!!!! We are over the moon!!!!” gushed the 1000-Lb Sisters star.
And that means Gage and his sibling will enjoy the same age difference as Amy and her own sister Tammy Slaton. In November 2021, little Gage celebrated his first birthday. As a result, Amy shared that she has even given her son lessons in “how to hold a baby,” reported TLC.
1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers: Amy’s Fans Question Diet
But Amy’s joyful Instagram posts sparked questions about her diet. For instance, the 1000-Lb Sisters star shared an Instagram post showing the baby’s size. And fans responded with questions about her food plan.
“Hope you take your food intake as serious as your pregnancy goes along. It is still important to your health and the health of the baby,” wrote one fan. And another chimed in, “Congratulations. Stay on top of your diet, luve.”
And some fans got blunt in their doubts about Amy’s diet, pointed out MEAWW. “I don’t think Amy will get down to 150 lbs because she eats crap when she’s pregnant and blames it on the baby/eating for 2,” slammed one 1000-Lb Sisters viewer. And the fan added, “Then once she has the baby, she still [eats] cr*p.”
Others pointed out that her pregnancy offers the 1000-Lb Sisters star the opportunity to start over. “You still could make healthier choices,” pointed out the viewer. And some even questioned her second pregnancy. “I get that Amy wants more kids. But now ain’t the time to be pregnant again, girl,” added the fan.
Amy Slaton Halterman Sparks Baby DNA Rumors
In her Instagram caption, Amy also sparked rumors about a DNA test for the baby. “15 week still no gender. Waiting on the blood dna test,” shared Amy. As a result of that comment about a DNA test, fans questioned the reason.
Referred to as prenatal cell-free DNA (cfDNA) screening or noninvasive prenatal screening, this test checks for possible chromosomal abnormalities in a fetus, according to the Mayo Clinic. For instance, the screening looks for certain chromosome problems, including Down syndrome, trisomy 13, and trisomy 18. And the procedure also can offer information about the baby’s gender.
