Married At First Sight Spoilers: Is Alyssa’s Fifteen Minutes Of Fame Worth It?

Married At First Sight

Married at First Sight spoilers and updates tease that Alyssa Ellman applied for MAFS and was matched with Chris Collette in season 14.

Married At First Sight Spoilers – Alyssa Checked Out As Soon As Her Marriage Began

Chris was a guest on the Afterparty with Keshia Knight Pullam who he told that when he and Alyssa went to city hall to sign their marriage license, she was already checked out, she declined to share her cell phone number with him and Alyssa was already on the phone with her lawyer when they were there. In the end, he said “I do” but she wouldn’t say it to the officiant. Chris says, “So she’s talking to her lawyers, doesn’t want to give me her phone number, doesn’t want to sit next to me on the plane, puts a producer between us so that we don’t have to sit next to each other, keep in mind that we’ve spent a total of 45 minutes to an hour together.”

To add to the awkward city hall experience, Alyssa would not share a room with Chris on their wedding night or on their honeymoon because as she said, “he is a stranger.”

Married At First Sight Updates – Was It Worth It?

Keshia played a clip for Chris of Alyssa saying, “I hate him,” she said. “He’s a f***ing a**hole. He’s disrespectful and rude and he’s going me dirty.” And, when Alyssa started complaining that Chris was going to move into the apartment and she then couldn’t, one of the producers reminded her that “at the end of the day, it is a show about marriage. It’s called Married at First Sight, not Single at First Sight.” Alyssa went on with her complaining, saying that he would take “the experience” away from her in being able to live in the apartment and mingle with the other wives.

MAFS fans have taken to Reddit to voice how they feel about Alyssa, “She is delusional. She wants to stay in the free luxury apartment living her reality show dreams without her husband. I think she signed up for the wrong show.” And “She is the kind of person to put people in extremely uncomfortable circumstances and has no self-awareness doing so. A true woman-child, I hope she finds maturity after this,” and “I really hope Alyssa is seeking some counseling to better understand the WIDE divide between her perception of herself and reality. You can see from her delusional proposal and the group’s silent response that it’s not editing that is portraying her badly. Her behavior is awful, in any light.”

There are a lot of MAFS fans saying that Alyssa did the show just to be on TV. If that is true, she is failing miserably by treating Chris so horribly. Sadly, Alyssa is not going to have many fans in TV land when they see her calling down Chris in front of the camera and all they see from Chris is how he never exaggerates, it speaks to his integrity as a person. Sadly, even Alyssa admitted on camera that her mother was mad at her for being mean to Chris.

What do you think? If Alyssa was actually looking to get her 15 minutes of fame, would it be worth it after all this?
