Destinee’s brother, Wayne Compton, shared the tragic news of Destinee’s death. It is sad that Destinee felt the need to commit suicide after everything she had survived. Wayne posted the following, “No no no I’m sorry bro, I accept you for who you are, I accept every flaw that come with you, I’m sorry you felt alone, I’m sorry you felt you had nobody else to turn too, I’m sorry you felt you had no other option Destiny wouldn’t of wanted this, lord why keep taking my siblings away, how much can I take?”
My 600 Lb. Life – Last Facebook Messages Were A Red Flag
My 600 Lb. Life’s Destinee had posted several concerning Facebook posts lately. Looking past the hundreds of messages mourning Destinee’s passing are the tell-tell signs of the depression taking over. In messages posted on both February 4 and February 5 Destinee’s post appears as someone who is ready to commit suicide.
Perhaps if these flags have been noticed someone could have helped. Destinee posted this on February 5, “To Everyone Who Genuinely Love And Support Me I Love You And I’m Grateful To Have Touched Millions Of Lives And Hearts Around The World. My prayer for someone struggling in anyway is That You Keep fighting, Know Your Beautiful your Strong and You Can Do and Be Anything you want and Dream. Dreaming Is Free, Love Is Free And Most Importantly God Is Free. Living My life with So much pain for so long I’ve come to Realize that God Makes no Mistakes I’m Grateful for my Journey and all I’ve been Through I don’t Regret A Single Moment. Love you All❤️🩹 — feeling accomplished with Matthew Ventress.”
My 600 Lb. Life – Suing My 600 Lb. Life Production
My 600 Lb. Life’s Destinee was suing My 600 Lb Life Production. Destinee first appeared on the show in 2019 during Season 7. When Destinee, who was 27 at the time, joined the show she weighed 669 lbs. Destinee lost over 500 lbs. Destinee was seeking $1 million in damages when she sued the show.
Of course, Destinee is not the first cast member to sue My 600 Lb. Life. Unfortunately, Destinee was also not the first to die while in a lawsuit with My 600 Lb. Life. We hope that Destinee can rest in peace. All of Destinee’s family are in our thoughts.
