Southern Charm spoilers, news, and updates tease that Craig Conover looked forward to seeing his ex-girlfriend, Naomie Olindo, on the upcoming season of the show.
Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo were involved in a romantic relationship for three years before calling it quits in 2017. Their relationship trials were documented on the show and the 6th season covered their breakup storyline.
In May 2018, Naomie started dating Metul Shah and moved to New York with him, which was the reason for her absence on the show. During her appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her, the France native revealed the reason why she left the show, which is to keep their relationship from the media since Shah is a doctor.
“I was totally willing to give up the show for what I thought to be a healthy and loving relationship because that’s what I would prioritize over a reality show, obviously,” Naomie shared. However, after three years of being together, Naomie and Shah put their relationship to an end.
Craig Conover Wants Naomie Olindo to Return to The Show
In his latest interview with Watch What Happens Live, Craig Conover revealed that he’s delighted to see his ex-girlfriend returning on “Southern Charm.” When asked if he felt bad about her comeback, Craig stated that he fully supports Naomie and revealed that the latter apologized to him.
“She said everything that everyone has always wanted her to say to me. She said she was sorry. She was honest about it,” he told host Andy Cohen.
The Delaware native also teased fans that the upcoming season would be a long one that the audience will surely enjoy. “It’s going to be a long season. There’s stuff that happens that you just can’t make up,” Craig said.
Craig Conover Joins ‘Southern Charm’ with Girlfriend Paige DeSorbo
As he’s in the middle of excitement about the upcoming season, Craig revealed that her girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, filmed several appearances on the show. Though it’s not their first time being on the small screen together, the 33-year-old reality star was delighted to be back in Charleston with Paige.
However, no matter how great the upcoming season will be, Craig confessed that he will never watch it back for the sake of his mental health. “It’s just easier for me to not rehash stuff and just keep moving forward,” he told E! News.
