What many fans don’t know is that this show is one of the longest-running on the network and it has quite the fan base. This show is focused on the morbidly obese cast members and their journey to better health and lose weight. They also are focused on getting weight loss surgery. Like many of the shows on TLC, fans have started to worry about the editing of this one.

Why Fans Are Upset

There has been a lot of confusion about the editing done on the show and now it has come out that fans are upset about what is going on. There one was a Reddit user who was watching season nine, episode five and she wanted to point out some of the poor editings that the producers had done.

The story was about Melissa and the fan wanted to point out that the producers didn’t do her any favors on the show. She wrote, “The audio editing on this show is alarmingly bad. The voiceovers sound like the audio equivalent of a ransom note made from letters cut from a magazine… it’s particularly noticeable during Dr. Now’s voiceovers.”

When it comes to the editing in voiceovers, it seems that it has gotten very bad in the last few seasons. Some viewers don’t even think that it is “cohesive” any longer. All the viewers want is to hear the stories of the cast members. but with this editing, it is pretty tough.

Given that, fans of the show just want it to give us the cast members’ stories and perspectives without butchering them.
