According to Auction.com, the home’s estimated value is $526,000. However, the debt on the home is $415,414. The home is set to be auctioned on August 26 with an opening bid of $230,000. Deon’s real estate company bought the home in 2012. This is Deon’s second home to fall into foreclosure.

Doubling Down With The Derricos’ previous home was not sold at the auction on September 1 last fall. That home is the four-bedroom, three-bath home featured on Doubling Down With The Derricos. The home was returned to the bank, Bank US Trust National Association. The bank purchased this home on September 10, 2021, for $441,842.06, the amount of unpaid debt.

Doubling Down With The Derricos – According to previous reports, Deon filed a petition for mediation assistance after the home went into default. Mediation assistance is a last resort effort for an owner to avoid foreclosure and work out an arrangement with the bank.

Unfortunately, the mediation failed and the foreclosure was reinstated. In February 2021, Deon filed a complaint against US Bank National Association. The foreclosure sale was set for March 12, 2021, but Deon argued that the home was his family’s primary residence. The Derricos have 14 children living in their home.

Doubling Down With The Derricos history seems to be repeating itself. Previous reports reveal that six of the Derricos homes in Michigan went into foreclosure. The family has also filed for bankruptcy five times. The family debated moving to South Carolina last season but are currently still in Las Vegas. Reports reveal that the couple also lost the home featured on the show as well.

Of course, the Derricos also have their nanny and Deon’s friend Eric living with them as well. The Derrico family homeschools all of their children except their oldest daughter who was allowed to go to public high school. Deon’s mother, Marian Derrico discovered last season that her cancer had returned. The family didn’t feel right leaving Las Vegas with Marian being so sick. Deon is trying to support his mother in any way he can.

Karen Derrico wanted to move back to South Carolina to be near her mother and family. Karen’s family doesn’t get to see the children very often because of the distance between them. Will the family ever manage to make that move?
