Married At First Sight spoilers and updates tease that now that the Matchmaking episode has aired, MAFS fans have had a good look at the five new couples; Lindy & Miguel, Justin & Alexis, Krysten & Mitch, Binh & Morgan, and Stacia & Nate, and are very surprised that a lot of warning signs were swept under the carpet.
Married At First Sight Spoilers – Do We Have Another Lindsey Georgoulis From Season 14?
Dr. Pepper Schwartz may not have been shocked when Lindy had an entire bar in her freezer, but MAFS fans didn’t feel the same. This just seems like another Lindsey. Who does that? No food in your freezer, just booze! Another drinker and we all know how that went for Lindsey and Virginia Coombs from season 12.
During the interview process, Nate told Dr. Pepper and Past Cal that his new wife’s looks were very important to him, but then during the home visit, he did a complete turnaround and said that a great personality was more important to him than looks. Where did that change come from?
Then, Alexis says she wants a linebacker and they match her with a goofy-looking basketball player!? Really? We can just guess where this relationship is going to go on Decision Day. Justin seems like a really nice guy, but it is doubtful that she will be attracted to him based on her wants.

Married At First Sight Updates – The Matches
Even though the Matchmaking Special made it look like Dr. Pepper and Pastor Cal make the decisions, it is really the producers that do and that is the reason for the ill matches. Think about it, who in their right mind would qualify Chris Williams from season 12, Christina Croce from season 11, Katie Conrad and Zach Justice from season 10, or more recently from season 14 Alyssa Ellman or Lindsey to be married at first sight? Producers who wants drama because sadly, it drives ratings through the roof.
If we look at season 14 alone, Noi Phommasak said how important it was to her to have both her and her new husband having successful careers and she is matched with Steve Moy who was unemployed. Alyssa went on and on about how looks were important to her and she was matched with a very average-looking Chris Collette who is probably one of the nicest guys to be on the show, but Alyssa could not et past the fact that he was not her hunky cowboy that she always dreamed of. Olajuwon Dickerson wanted a traditional wife who cooked, cleaned, and took care of the house, and he was matched with Katina Goode who can’t cook and doesn’t like to clean up.
One thing is for sure, there will be no shortage of drama on season 15 after the couples walk down the aisle.
