Married At First Sight Spoilers: Can An Expert With A Failed Marriage Offer Advice?
Married At First Sight spoilers and updates tease that MAFS season 15 has given us two new experts, DeVon Franklin, a Hollywood producer and relationship advisor, along with Dr. Pia Holec, a renowned psychotherapist who specializes in sex and couples’ therapy.
Married At First Sight Spoilers – DeVon Franklin
Many MAFS fans are concerned about DeVon Franklin’s highly publicized divorce from actor Megan Good. But, in MAFS’ defense, they approached DeVon before he filed for divorce. Even DeVon had misgivings about doing the show and thought that perhaps he should decline, but changed his mind, “I was going to tell them ‘No’ because I felt shame and that voice in my head said, ‘you’re a failure, how can you help anybody save their marriage when yours didn’t work out. That voice in my head also had me thinking about what would ‘people’ say? Would ‘people’ approve or disapprove? And then I had to ask myself: Is this how I’m going to live the rest of my life? In fear about what ‘people’ say? And who are ‘people’ anyway? So I went back to the Married at First Sight team and told them YES, I’ll still come. I REFUSE TO LIVE IN FEAR OR SHAME!”
Married At First Sight Updates – DeVon Is Not The First Expert With A Failed Marriage
Dr. Pepper Schwartz is a sociologist and sexologist, and relationship expert on MAFS. After 23 years of marriage, Dr. Pepper and her husband divorced. She is now remarried, although they don’t live together. Dr. Pepper has a very long, highly respected, and an awarded career spanning over five decades. So, the answer to the question is yes, an expert with a failed marriage can offer advice!

Applicants who are chosen to be matched on Married At First Sight take the crazy risk of marrying a complete stranger and have greater chances of having long-lasting relationships with the help of the experts. DeVon is looking forward to joining the expert panel and maybe his new perspective will spice things up a bit with a whole new outlook. The season 15 weddings premiere on July 6th and DeVon plans on applying what he has learned in his divorce to the new season, “A lot of times in relationships, it’s very easy to say, ‘Oh, that person is the problem,’ No. Look in the mirror and say, ‘OK, what’s my part in this? And what can I do to make a change in myself?”
